Mindsparkle: Comence Studio DATE July 24, 2026 EDITOR Mindsparkle Mag The wave-inspired identity Comence built for Albania's Dukagjini Resort Dukagjini Resort is a luxury complex on the coast of Shëngjin, Albania, uniting residences, apartments, a village, and a hotel under one architectural language of arched, cascading forms overlooking the Adriatic Sea.Comence joined the project after a meeting with the architectural studios behind its concept, Studio Precht and W10 Architects, who designed the buildings and interiors.

Comence's role was to build the full brand identity on top of that architecture — the book, gift box, and website design that carry the resort's story beyond its walls. The identity concept is built on three ideas drawn from the site itself: the close, irregular clustering of Albanian village typology; the traditional arched porches and rest balconies known locally as 'çardak'; and the cascading relationship between the buildings and the sloping coastline.

A repeating scalloped wave motif, debossed across the book and gift box, ties the graphic system back to the Adriatic shoreline the resort looks out on.The centerpiece object is a 180-page book, printed on uncoated Gmund stock and packaged in a debossed gift box alongside a tablet preloaded with the resort's digital brochure — a physical expression of the same packaging and layout logic carried through to the website.
