It is great to get off the beaten path and occasionally get lost, as you end up discovering hidden towns or streets. Traveling alone makes you entirely responsible for yourself, and it pushes you to meet amazing people.

You might find yourself in the mountains needing to talk to someone, even if it is just a driver. Travel also offers a vital disconnection from home. If you have worries or a difficult situation, traveling provides an escape to relax.
