The collaboration between Gap and Harlem’s Fashion Row highlights the importance of inclusivity and local representation in brand strategy. By partnering with Harlem-based designers, Gap not only diversifies its product offerings but also strengthens its connection to the community, appealing to consumers who value authenticity and cultural relevance in their purchases.
Cool Hunting: Gap × Harlem’s Fashion Row Gap × Harlem’s Fashion Row Gap × Harlem’s Fashion Row denim collection features new items designed by five Harlem-based designers: GDALYAH by Igdaliah Pickering, Daveed Baptiste by Daveed Baptiste, LaTouché by Jimmy Latouche, Nicole Benefield Portfolio by Nicole Benefield, and Atelier Ndigo by Waina Chancy.
The capsule collection features easy to wear items, some staples, some making more of a statement, with prices ranging from $98 to $148.
