Thank you so much for joining us in this interview series! Before we begin, can you please introduce yourself?
Our readers would love to “get to know you” a bit better. Can you tell us a bit about your ‘backstory’ and how you got started? I grew up as a military brat, surrounded by service, structure, and sacrifice. My father was a Chief Master Sergeant in the Air Force, and my mother led Catholic Charities. From an early age, I learned that leadership is about accountability, empathy, and getting the mission done while never losing sight of the people who depend on you. My path wasn’t linear; I wanted to be a fighter pilot, but life had other plans.
After my mother’s illness and a lost pilot slot, I leaned into my technical background and started building something meaningful. That journey led me to co-found Bit-Wizards and later TalkingParents, both rooted in the values of disciplined execution, service, and building organizations that outlast any one person. None of us are able to achieve success without some help along the way. Is there a particular person who you are grateful towards who helped get you to where you are? Can you share a story? I know it’s not a single person, but I’m especially grateful for my Vistage CEO Peer Group.
