While AI has massively expanded how much software teams can create, AppSec still hasn't evolved to match this unprecedented amount of code, and legacy security tools flood teams with alerts without the context to show what actually matters or what to do next.Staris's AI-powered AppSec platform was built to fix this, and Gold Front partnered with their founding team to build the category strategy, brand, and website that would prove it.The engagement started with def

ining the category - Total Context Product Security - Staris's novel approach to AppSec that ingests source code, API docs, compliance frameworks, and configurations to build a holistic understanding of a business, its app, and its data. This context doesn't just surface the right threats: it fixes them automatically, and proves every fix is real. With the category defined, Gold Front developed the brand.

Keying off Staris's futuristic name and bold vision, the identity was placed squarely in the future - otherworldly AI imagery, deep purples and magentas inspired by solar flares and celestial bodies, and a wordmark where the star is negative space cut directly out of the letters. From there, the strategy and brand were carried into messaging across the website, hero headlines, and ad applications.

Every line was written to speak directly to the Director of Application Security caught between executive pressure and developer demands.Altogether, the new category, brand, and messaging position Staris as the pioneer behind a new era in application security.
